The United States expects Pakistan to act quickly against perpetrators of the Pathankot terror attack, reported The Times of India. US Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday called up Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and extended the country's full support to find out the truth, reported PTI. Sharif told Kerry that Pakistan is swiftly carrying out investigations in a transparent manner, said the report.
Pakistan also said that Foreign Secretary-level talks with India scheduled for January 15 are intact. It added that its investigative authorities were following the leads provided by India. Earlier, India had linked the fate of the talks to Pakistan's "prompt and decisive" action on the attack, for which it has provided "actionable intelligence".
