The Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday filed the chargesheet in the Dadri lynching case. The chargesheet named 15 people as accused, one of whom is a juvenile, reported Times Now. The police also arrested two people involved in the case on Wednesday, saying that two others are absconding.
Mohammad Akhlaq, 52, was killed in Dadri on September 28, after a mob attacked his family for allegedly eating beef. The police said it has still not received a forensic report on the type of meat. Akhlaq's daughter, Shaishta, has been made the prime witness in the case, reported PTI. The police have made several arrests in the case after Akhlaq's family filed an FIR.
