At least one person was injured in a shootout inside Karkadooma court complex in New Delhi on Wednesday, most likely in courtroom 73. Conflicting reports claimed that two men fired shots that hit at least one court employee and possibly one police official. Police have arrested the two assailants who managed to smuggle arms into the complex. The Times of India reported that head constable Ram Kumar was shot at and died in a government hospital soon after. The Hindu said the men were relatives of an undertrial.
