The French police said on Wednesday that a 23-year-old man from the city of Strasbourg has been identified as the third bomber involved in the terror attacks in the Bataclan music hall in Paris, AFP reported.
According to the report, Foued Mohamed Aggad had been to Syria with his brother and a group of friends at the end of 2013. While most of the others were arrested upon their return to France in spring last year, Aggad had stayed back in Syria. He was identified at the end of last week after his DNA was matched with those of his family members.
The two other bombers who were involved in the Bataclan attacks, which had resulted in at least 89 casualties, were earlier identified as 29-year-old Omar Ismail Mostefai and 28-year-old Samy Amimour.
On November 13, Paris was hit by a series of coordinated attacks, which left as many as 130 people dead. Considered the deadliest attack on France since World War II, for which the ISIS claimed responsibility, it involved suicide bombings and mass shootings at restaurants, cafes and other venues across the city.
