Terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba is planning to carry out terror attacks in Delhi, according to a First Information Report lodged by the Delhi Police. The Hindu reported the police saying that terrorists plan to carry out suicide bombings and grenade attacks targeting some prominent personalities. According to the police, the terrorists have already entered India via Jammu and Kashmir and other international borders.

The FIR was filed by the Delhi Police on Tuesday under sections concerning the prevention of unlawful activities and criminal conspiracy. A senior police official said they have begun collecting information about LeT sympathisers in the country. The police is trying to gather details about two suspected terrorists based in Jammu and Kashmir who are leading the alleged operation.
