French authorities said on Friday that the body of a woman has been found in the rubble of the apartment in the Parisian suburb of Sant-Denis where the police conducted an anti-terror raid on Wednesday. The development comes a day after the suspected mastermind of the Paris terror attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was confirmed dead in the police operation. Another woman had blown herself up during the seven-hour raid.
A statement by the Paris prosecutor's office said that a handbag was found containing the passport of Abaaoud's female cousin Hasna Ait Boulahcen. The identity of the third body was not disclosed by the prosecutors. AFP reported that the police had raided the home of Boulahcen's mother on Thursday after receiving information that the 26-year-old woman had transformed to a radical Islamist six months ago. "She was unstable, she created her own bubble. She wasn't looking to study religion, I have never even seen her open a Koran," her brother said.
