Eleven persons were injured in a clash in a gurdwara in Germany on Sunday following disagreements about the management and financial affairs of the institution, India Today reported.
The dispute involves the election of a new board to manage the institution and the administration of community assets.
Videos of the incident widely shared on social media showed persons using kirpans to attack others.
Several persons fled the site as the clash began. About 300 to 400 persons were at the gurdwara for a gathering, Neue Ruhr Zeitung reported.
More than 40 persons were involved in the altercation in Moers town, ANI reported. The incident led the police to intervene, German newspaper Neue Ruhr Zeitung reported.
