The Delhi and Bombay High Courts were evacuated on Friday after receiving bomb threat emails.
Several benches of the Delhi High Court rose abruptly after an email, received around 8.38 am, warned of an explosion in the premises, The Hindu reported.
Advocate Pramod Kumar Dubey told ANI that the court was vacated and security personnel began checks after the threat.
The Delhi Police later said that preliminary investigation suggested the threat was a hoax.
Shortly after the Delhi incident, the Bombay High Court also received a bomb threat, ANI reported.
Lawyers and staff were asked to vacate the premises as a precaution.
