The complainant alleged that Mukesh harassed her on multiple occasions several years ago, but she did not file a complaint because she was a newcomer in the film industry and was scared, reported The News Minute.

The court issued the direction on a petition filed by Mukesh, who claimed that the complaint against him was made with malafide intention to tarnish his career as a politician and an actor. The complaint was filed over 15 years after the alleged incident took place, he added.

Mukesh presented to the court a copy of a communication sent to him by the actor in which she allegedly thanked him for his kindness.

His submission also included a message on the social media application WhatsApp where she allegedly demanded Rs 1 lakh from him, according to Bar and Bench.
