Indians suffered a string of quarter-final defeats at the ATP Challenger events and the ITF Futures in Indonesia.
Top seeds Vishnu Vardhan & N Sriram Balaji were defeated 6-7(5), 6-7(5) by the Spanish duo of Carlos Boluda Purkiss and Miguel Semmler in the quarter-finals of the Segovia ATP Challenger.
At the Los Cabos Open, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and his American partner Austin Krajicek went down to Nicholas Monroe of USA and Monaco’s Romain Arneodo 5-7, 4-6 in the quarter-final.
Saketh Myneni, who upset third seed Norbert Gombos in the first round at Lexington Challenger, retired in the second whilst trailing 4-5 in the first set against American Ronnie Schneider.
