Whether you've been watching or not, it's time to admit it. Pro Kabaddi is a phenomenon that has got the country hooked. The fourth season of the league is underway and it's been a spectacle of agility, power and super raids.

Women on top

This time, the league has gone one step forward by introducing the Women's Kabaddi Challenge. Along with the eight men's teams, three women's teams – Storm Queens, Ice Divas and the Fire Birds – have been fighting it out between themselves in an epic contest. Patna is blowing off some steam

They're defending champions and it looks like the Patna Pirates could very well repeat that feat. The Pirates are on top of the leaderboard right now and have opened up a five point lead over second placed Jaipur Pink Panthers, who have a game in hand. The Pirates have devised a way to clamber to victory even when under the cosh – their last two victories against Dabang Delhi and Puneri Paltan came by the razor-thin difference of one point and three points respectively.

Creating a bigger buzz

This year's edition has seen the organisers take interesting steps to grow the appeal of franchise and bring in personalities from other walks of life. From actors like Sunny Leone and Sonu Sood to sportpersons like chess Grandmaster Tania Sachdev, there's always been people proving off-field action.
