Thank you for joining into our coverage. See you tomorrow with yet another day of thrilling Paralympics action!

Badminton, women’s singles SH6, bronze medal match: Nithya Sre Sivan wins the bronze medal. She beats Rina Marlina 21-14, 21-6 in just 23 minutes to win India’s eighth medal of the day.

The win mark’s the Indian shuttler’s first-ever career win over Marlina. What a stage to do it!

Badmiton, women’s singles SH6, bronze medal match: Nithya Sre Sivan opens up a 7-0 lead, but Marlina fights back. The Indian, though, weathers the storm and swings the momentum back in her favourt to pocket the opening game 21-14 in 14 minutes.

Just a game away from a spot on the podium in Nithya Sre Sivan. Reminder, that she has never beaten Rina Marlina before in her career.

Badminton, women’s singles SH6: India’s Nithya Sre Sivan is out on court for her bronze medal match. She goes up against Rina Marlina of Indonesia with an eye on the podium.

Athletics, women’s discus throw F53: India’s Kanchan Lakhani throws a personal best 10.06m with her sixth and final attempt. That unfortunately would not be enough to earn a spot on the podium for the 40-year-old from Faridabad. She will finish sixth or seventh out of eight athletes with Mexico’s Ochoa Delgado Leticia yet to throw.

Athletics, women’s 400m T20 Heat 1: India’s Deepthi Jeevanji wins the heat, clocking 55.45s. The word record holder moves into the final!

Athletics, men’s javelin throw F64: Sandeep Chaudhary (62.80m) and Sandip Sargar (58.03m), meanwhile, finish fourth and seventh respectively.

Athletics, men’s javelin throw F64: Sumit Antil defends his Paralympics gold. He wins men’s javelin throw F64 with a Paralympic record throw of 70.58m.

Antil pockets India’s third gold medal of the 2024 Paralympic Games. He is also only the third Indian after Devendra Jhajaria and Avani Lekhara to win two Paralympic gold medals for India!

Athletics, men’s javelin throw F64: No change in standings after fifth throws for the three Indians in contention. Sandeep Chaudhary continues to be fourth, can he find the much needed push with his final attempt to climb up to the podium?

Athletics, men’s javelin throw F64: A 66.66m throw from Sumit Antil with his third attempt. This throw alone would comfortably put him on the gold medal spot currently, but he is unhappy. Antil has his standards set high!

Archery, mixed team compound open: India win bronze!! What a thrilling contest. Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar come in clutch in the final end as they score a perfect forty. Sheetal Devi is a Paralympic medalist at 16 and veteran Rakesh Kumar proves his experience is why he is No 1 ranked. Close from the Italians but the final end seems to be decisive.

Badminton, men’s singles SL4, gold medal match: There’s the inevitable. Suhas Yathiraj, once again, no match to Lucas Mazur of France. The Indian goes down 9-21, 13-21 in just 34 minutes. It was a repeat of the Tokyo Paralympics final and the result does not change either.

Suhas Yathiraj is a two-time Paralympics silver medallist.

In the shootoff, all four archers managed to score a 10, but Fatemeh Hemmati's shot is 1.1mm away from the bullseye – there's virtually no beating that.

Heartbreak for India, but they will compete for the bronze medal match shortly.
