The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League features 10 teams and the league stage was played at four venues in Maharashtra.
Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, added to the list of the eight teams from the previous seasons, finished in the top three. RR took the second spot while DC’s defeat in their final league match saw RCB sneak into fourth place.
The league matches were played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune and Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium (Cricket Club of India).
