Asked to bat first, West Indies finished with 157/7.
In reply, Australia finished with 161/2 (16.2 overs).
Australia win by 8 wickets
David Warner remains unbeaten on 89 off 56. A splendid knock by the left-hander.
AUS 157/2 after 16 overs: OUT! Gayle, with possibly his last ball in West Indies colours, gets a wicket! He dismisses Marsh (53 off 32) and follows that up with a big hug to the right-hander.
AUS 150/1 after 15 overs: Dwayne Bravo finishes with figures of 0/36 in his last T20I. The end of a truly outstanding career. Meanwhile, Warner moves on to 80 off 49 with a four and a six.
AUS 133/1 after 14 overs: Fifty for Marsh! He picks up two fours off Holder past short third. Not much going right for West Indies.
AUS 122/1 after 13 overs: Bravo bowls a good wide yorker but Warner manages to carve it past extra cover for four. Nothing going West Indies’ way at the moment.
AUS 114/1 after 12 overs: Russell returns to the attract and Warner picks up another boundary. The left-hander moves on to 62 off 39. Australia are making it look easy.
AUS 98/1 after 10 overs: Russell joins the attack and Marsh takes him to the cleaners. The right-hander flicks one for six before picking up two fours. Australia need 60 off 60.
AUS 82/1 after 9 overs: Fifty for Warner! The left-hander gets his 20th T20I half-century off 29 deliveries. Walsh tosses one up and Warner hits a huge six over long-on. Australia are dominating the chase.
AUS 71/1 after 8 overs: SIX! Marsh steps out and launches one over long-off. Hosein is done with his spell, he finishes with figures of 1/29 from his four overs.
AUS 53/1 after 6 overs: Warner ends the powerplay with a bang! Pollard decides to give Hosein another over and the left-hander hits him for a six and a four. Australia need 105 off 84.
AUS 41/1 after 5 overs: Bravo comes on to bowl and Warner smashes the first ball for four. But the experienced pacer does well to concede just two more runs in the rest of the over.
AUS 33/1 after 3.3 overs: OUT! Hosein cleans up Finch! The left-arm spinner continues his impressive form and gets West Indies the breakthrough. The new batter is Marsh.
AUS 31/0 after 3 overs: Brilliant batting from Warner! The left-hander picks up three boundaries – first down the ground, then past the keeper, and finally a powerful pull over mid-wicket. Expensive over from Holder.
AUS 18/0 after 2 overs: Warner and Finch are off to a strong start in the chase. Both openers pick up boundaries with cut shots in that Chase over.
West Indies finish with 157/7
Russell finishes the innings in style with back-to-back sixes off Starc. Pollard and Co will be pleased with their recovery from 35/3.
WI 143/7 after 19.2 overs: OUT! Starc gets Pollard (44 off 31) in the final over. The WI skipper tried to clear the rope but found Maxwell at long-on. Holder is the new batter.
WI 143/6 after 19 overs: Cummins hits the blockhole but Russell manages to get it past short-fine for four. West Indies have the right batters at the crease for one final assault. Can they get to 160? Starc to bowl the last over.
WI 126/6 after 17.3 overs: OUT! Bravo, in his last innings for West Indies, is dismissed by Hazlewood. Applause from the Aussies and the crowd as the great man walks off. Russell is the new batter.
WI 123/5 after 17 overs: Pollard goes big! The right-hander decides to go after Cummins and picks up a four and a six. West Indies are setting themselves up for a big finish.
WI 109/5 after 16 overs: Shot! Starc pitches it in the slot and Bravo goes bang! A stunning strike for six over long-off by the right-hander.
WI 99/5 after 15 overs: Pollard thumps it down the ground and nearly takes Bravo out at the other end. No hard done, thankfully. The end of a good over from Marsh.
WI 91/5 after 12.5 overs: OUT! Hazlewood bangs one in and Hetmyer (27 off 28) gloves it to Wade. West Indies have lost half their side. The new batter is Dwayne Bravo, who’s playing his last game for the West Indies.
WI 87/4 after 12 overs: Dropped! Pollard hits a low full toss straight back and Zampa doesn’t hold on to the return catch. The WI skipper then rubs salt to leg spinner’s wound by cutting the last ball for four.
WI 81/4 after 11 overs: Starc returns to the attack and bowls a solid over with serious pace. Hetmyer manages to keep a yorker out and pick up two to end the over.
WI 70/4 after 9.3 overs: OUT! Lewis (29 off 26) tries to break the shackles but finds the fielder in the deep. Smith takes a fine catch as Zampa gets the wicket.
WI 57/3 after 8 overs: Zampa comes on to bowl and starts well. There isn’t much turn on offer, though. The leg-spinner will be looking to vary his pace and lengths well.
WI 53/3 after 7 overs: A poor review taken by Australia but other than that, a tidy over from Marsh. The West Indies batters are looking to take fewer risks for now.
WI 50/3 after 6 overs: Lewis gets one past short fine for four but Maxwell does well to limit the damage in his first over.
WI 44/3 after 5 overs: Shot! Cummins pitches it wide and Hetmyer punches it past extra cover for four. The left-hander has started well and has a big job on his hands today.
WI 35/3 after 3.2 overs: OUT! Hazlewood has two wickets in one over! Chase is gone for a duck and West Indies are in deep trouble.
WI 35/2 after 3.1 overs: OUT! Pooran falls cheaply as Hazlewood strikes. The ball climbs on the left-hander and Marsh gets a simple catch at cover.
WI 30/1 after 2.2 overs: OUT! Gayle (15 off 9) was on the charge but Cummins gets him to chop one on. Big blow to the West Indies! Gayle raising his bat with a big smile as he walks off. This could be the last time we saw the great man bat in West Indies colours.
WI 24/0 after 2 overs: Huge over! Lewis hits Hazlewood for a hat-trick of fours before Gayle launches the first maximum of the match. Smart hitting by the two left-handers.
WI 4/0 after 1 over: Gayle, batting with shades on, leaves a couple of balls outside off alone as Starc completes a tidy first over.
