The Gurugram Police on Wednesday arrested 15 people from a spa centre in Gurugram’s Sector 29 for allegedly being involved in sex trade, PTI reported. They include five women each from Thailand and Manipur, one from Uttar Pradesh, and four men, including two suspected customers.
“We have registered a First Information Report under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Foreigners Act pertaining to prostitution against the spa owner, Yudhvir Singh, who is absconding,” said Gurgaon Police Public Relations Officer Subhash Bokan. “We have arrested the spa manager and his helper during the raid.”
Bokan said newly appointed Police Commissioner KK Rao had ordered the raid. The foreigners’ visas are being verified, he added.
