Before July 3, hardly anybody knew of Khali the Killer, an action thriller, rated 3.6 on the Internet Movie Database and released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on DVD in November last year. All that changed on Tuesday morning when the entire 89-minute film was accidentally released on the YouTube channel of Sony Pictures Entertainment instead the film’s trailer.
The goof-up was spotted by CBR.com. The video was reportedly up on Sony’s YouTube channel for up to eight hours before it was removed.
Khali the Killer, written and directed by Jon Matthews, stars Richard Cabral (The Counselor, End of Watch) as a hitman named Khali whose final assignment is ruined when he gets too attached to his intended victims.
