Out-of-favour Vidarbha pacer Shrikant Wagh picked up all ten wickets in an innings while playing for Stokesley Cricket Club against Middlesbrough CC in the England Cricket Board’s North Yorkshire & South Durham League.
Wagh, who was a regular member of the Vidarbha Ranji team till 2016, helped his side to a record 135-run victory over Middlesbrough CC. He also chipped in with a cameo 41 runs which included four sixes.
Wagh has so far picked up 33 wickets in the league at an average of 11.49 and a strike rate of 24.76.
The performance is likely to help his case as he competes to earn his place back in the Vidarbha playing XI.
