The Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh (CSEAP) has released the results and merit list for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2018. The APTET results were declared today, July 2nd, at around 11:30 a.m., according to the Times of India. The APTET results were expected by 11 a.m., but there was a minor delay. Candidates who appeared for the Andhra Pradesh TET exam 2018 can check the official website aptet.apcfss.in for their results.

Here’s how to check APTET 2018 results

  1. Visit the official APTET website.
  2. Scroll down to the Results section under the APTET May 2018 heading, and click on the link.
  3. Alternatively, click on this direct link to access your APTET results 2018.
  4. Enter your hall ticket number and date of birth and click on ‘Get Results’.    
  5. The APTET 2018 results will be displayed. Note that they are simply a computer generated Statement of Marks, and are for information only.

The APTET 2018 was conducted from June 10th to 21st this year, and around 4 lakh candidates appeared for the teacher’s eligibility exam. The APTET exam is conducted for candidates aspiring to be teachers for class I to VIII in government schools, private aided schools, and private unaided schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam was conducted in 13 districts and also had centres in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

The APTET 2018 exams were conducted through computer-based tests. Aspirants had to appear for three papers: Paper I, Paper II (A), and Paper II (B). Paper I was for candidates aspiring to teach class I to V; candidates intending to teach class VI to VIII had to appear for paper II (A); and candidates intending to teach physical education had to appear for Paper II (B). Candidates had an option to appear for both Paper I and Paper II if they wanted to be eligible to teach classes I through VIII.
