Like all language, queer slang has expanded rapidly in recent years. So can the older generation relate to these new words and phrases?

A hilarious new video posted on the YouTube channel of INTO, the online lifestyle magazine of the social networking app Grindr, finds out. Belita, Phyllis and Sabel are tested on terms like “hasbian”, “gold star” and “pillow princess.” While some are easy guesses, others leave them flummoxed. Others still have been around for years, it turns out. The three ladies good naturedly rib each other while reflecting on all that has – and hasn’t – changed over the years.

INTO released a similar video last month in which older gay men responded to the lingo of the younger generation.
