The Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, has released on its official website, tnhealth.org, the Tamil Nadu NEET rank list 2018. Candidates from the state who took the NEET 2018 exam can now check whether their name features on the NEET rank list for Government and Management quota seats.

Keerthana K has secured the first rank in the state list, with a score of 676 out of 720 in the NEET 2018 exam. She also holds the All India rank 12. Over 25,000 students have been included in the Tamil Nadu NEET rank list for government quota, while in the rank list for management, almost 19,000 students’ names have been provided.

The first phase of counselling for Tamil Nadu NEET candidates aspiring for MBBS and BDS courses in the state will begin on July 1st, according to NDTV, and run up to July 5th. These dates are, however, tentative; the original notification from the Health and Family Welfare Department (dated June 4th, 2018), gave tentative dates of counselling as July 7th to 10th.

How to download TN NEET rank list 2018

  1. Log on to the Tamil Nadu government Health and Family Welfare website.
  2. In the Notification section, look for and click on the relevant Provisional rank list.
  3. A Zip file will be downloaded. Extract it to your PC and open the PDF.
  4. Look for your name on the Tamil Nadu NEET rank list 2018.

Tamil Nadu students who appeared for the NEET exam and who seek admission to TN colleges for MBBS and BDS courses have been urged to visit the official sites only: viz, tnmedicalselection.org and tnhealth.org.

The MBBS and BDS courses in the state are scheduled to begin on August 1st, and admissions will close on August 18th, 2018.

The eligibility for admission to MBBS and BDS degree courses within the respective categories will be based solely on the marks obtained in the NEET UG 2018 exam.
