As many as 25 Air India flights were delayed across its network on Saturday because of a technical malfunction in the check-in software. Flight operations were delayed at several airports, including New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, for several hours, though the malfunction was reportedly rectified within 30 minutes. Services resumed around 5 pm.

“The software-related glitch affected operations from 1 pm to 2.30 pm, during which period, check-in and other services were handled manually,” an unidentified Air India spokesperson told PTI.

Several passengers complained on Twitter that their flights were delayed for several hours.
