Assistant coach Paul Farbrace will assume the role of England’s head coach during his side’s T20 games against Australia and India, ESPNCricinfo reported.
Farbace takes over from Trevor Bayliss who will use the time to watch a few games of the England Lions who are playing in a tri-series against India ‘A’ and West Indies ‘A’.
Farbrace was the interim head coach of the England outfit in 2015 after Peter Moores was sacked. He later became assistant to Bayliss who joined shortly after.
Farbrace has previously coached Sri Lanka who won the World T20 and 2014 Asia Cup during his tenure.
