It was a regular day for commuters in New York’s Rockefeller Center subway station – until, that is, some of them were treated to an impromptu concert from Christina Aguilera and Jimmy Fallon. Initially they thought it was just a pair of buskers, but then they were attracted by the sheer quality of the performance, and a crowd began to gather, the train forgotten.
The 37-year-old Grammy award winning musician and 43-year-old comedian wore disguises for the performance, which was then aired as a segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (video above). Aguilera was wearing a brown wig and a big hat while Fallon also had a wig on, along with a goatee.
The show has previously featured performances by other singers and bands, including Maroon 5 and Miley Cyrus, in similar situations.
