The Kerala Police on Friday said they have filed cases against the daughter of an assistant director general of police and his driver in Thiruvananthapuram, PTI reported. The driver, identified as Gavaskar, alleged the woman assaulted him while she accused him of abusing her.

Gavaskar is attached to the Special Armed Police camp in Thiruvananthapuram. He has been working as a driver for Sudesh Kumar, the head of the Armed Police Battalion, NDTV reported.

In his complaint, Gavaskar alleged that the police official’s daughter and wife were angry with him for not arriving at a location on time. The driver claimed that she assaulted him when he requested her to stop abusing him.
