Esoteric and allegorical, Somak Mukherjee’s short film Dot Plus O offers a critique of capitalism and authoritarianism.
In the dialogue-free film, a woman (Sukanya Kulkarni) and a man (Chetan Sushir) are prancing around bushes, teasing one another, when the woman suddenly gets injured. The man tries to get her medical help, but the treatment comes at a high cost for the couple – financial as well as personal.
Dot Plus O can be viewed on the YouTube channel Humara Movie.
