“He kidnapped her right before your eyes. Eliminate Junga,” a French villain declares in the trailer of upcoming Tamil film Junga. We meet this Junga, a burly yet affable gent played by Vijay Sethupathi, who is seen roughing someone up on the streets of Paris.
The gangster comedy has been directed by Gokul (Rowthiram, Kashmora) and marks the filmmaker’s second collaboration with Sethupathi after the hit comedy Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013). Also starring Sayyeshaa, Madonna Sebastian and Yogi Babu, Junga traces the exploits of charming Tamil gangster.
The film has been produced by Sethupathi’s banner, Vijay Sethupathi Productions. The release date is yet to be announced. The actor will be seen next in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
