YouTube star Sawan Dutta aka Bengali Aunty has been touring Scotland recently. Naturally, this took her into Harry Potter country, including the school that Hogwarts is said to be inspired by, and the famous Edinburgh cafe, The Elephant House, where JK Rowling “where the Harry Potter books were written by JK Rowling overlooking spooks”.

The outcome were these two short odes, sung hilariously to John William’s Hedwig’s Theme from the Harry Potter films. Dutta’s trademark oversized red bindi and cultivated Bengali accent are very much in evidence, as are displays of her wicked rhyming (“ode” with “commode”, for instance.)
