The office of the sub-divisional magistrate at Theog in Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh, had an unusual, and very young, visitor – a bear cub, who appears to have been rescued from a jungle fire near Kotkhai.

Filmed by several of the people present (videos above and below), the cub had an enjoyable time, practising gymnastics moves with the furniture and investigating different parts of the office with unbridled curiosity.

The bear cub played fearlessly with the humans and seemed to be on the verge of reading some of the files.
