India clinched gold and silver at the Fourth Senior and Junior Asian Trampoline Championships held at the University of Makati in Manila, Philippines.

Shivani Dound won the gold in the women’s individual senior final while compatriot Siddhi Breed clinched silver. Philippines’ Erin Abaniel won bronze.

Shivani finished with 35.635 points as Siddhi scored 28.515.

Kazakhstan’s Pirmammad Aliyev walked away with the gold in the men’s individual senior final. He tallied 56.635 points. North Korea’s Kim Yun-song and Daniyar Tussupov, also of Kazakhstan, finished second and third respectively.

The Japanese dominated the individual juniors finals, winning gold and silver. Fujimoto Takumi (55.755) and Miyano Hayato (55.660) finished first and second on the podium while China’s Wu Wei took the bronze 53.545). In the girls’ final, China’s Fan Xinyi (54.740) and Yan Junyi (52.805) took the gold and silver. Japan’s Masuzaki Serina finished third (51.800).

The championships featured 100 athletes from 10 nations and was organised by the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) under the aegis of Asian Gymnastics Union.
