This high school student had a graduation ceremony she won’t forget (video above).
Cynthia Pettway, a student in Mobile, Alabama, USA, was informed by her doctors that she would not recover in time to leave the hospital on time for her graduation ceremony. So, thanks to the combined efforts of her family, the school and the hospital, a makeshift robot with an iPad, controlled by Pettway from her hospital bed, accepted the diploma on her behalf.
The USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital and the Mobile County Public School System came together to make this possible, according to The Washington Post.
