India’s Ravinder clinched gold in the freestyle 60kg category at the Asian Cadet Wrestling Championships on Sunday.
The Indian grappler beat Mukhtaruly Iassaul of Kazakhstan 60kg gold 8-1 in the final.
This is the second gold for India in the tournament, with Anshu having clinched the yellow metal in the women’s 61kg category on Saturday.
In the 110kg category, India’s Anirudh Kumar won silver after being humbled 10-0 by Zare Amir Hossein Abbas of Iran in the final.
Meanwhile, Saurabh Madhukar Igave (48kg), Parvinder (55kg) and Monu Dahiya (92kg) earned bronze for India.
India have won two gold, three silver and 11 bronze in the tournament.
