Mondays can sometimes feel like being sucked into a black hole or being attacked by gigantic monsters.

Producer Eric Powers envisions a world exactly like that in the music video above, which seems to be set on planet Monday, or at least the worst Monday on the planet. The stop motion animation video, made for Jeremy Messersmith’s Monday, you’re not so bad from the album Late Stage Capitalism visualises and personifies all the intimidation and dread with which the first working day of the week fills us.

However, the video doubles as a delightfully morbid reminder that perhaps Mondays aren’t so bad after all.
