In hit Tamil action film Sandakozhi (2005), Balu (Vishal) had challenged the villain (Lal) with seething rage to come fight him if he could. The Tamil actor is back to keep his word in the sequel Sandakozhi 2.
The trailer takes off where the 2005 film ended. Directed by N Lingusamy (Run, Paiya), Sandakozhi 2 also stars Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The sequel will see the return of Rajkiran as Vishal’s tough father.
The film will mark the 25th title for the Tamil actor, whose credits include Thimiru (2006), Thaamirabharani (2007) and Malaikottai (2007). The release date is yet to be announced. Vishal’s latest release is the action drama Irumbu Thirai, alongside Arjun.
