The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination 2017 on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 on its official website. The Commission has provisionally recommended 447 candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for the 140th Course, and Naval Academy for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), commencing from July 2018.
Utpal Anand aced the exam and grabbed top spot on the UPSC NDA/NA merit list. Second and third position, respectively, on the merit list were held by Kunal Malhan and Shubham Kumar Jha.
The Commission stated that the recommendations are provisional and that qualified candidates will have to submit supporting documents such as those for date of birth, educational qualifications and others, to the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. - Under the ‘What’s New’ section, click on ‘Final Result: National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2017’.
- Click on the link under ‘Documents’ column. A PDF will open.
- Check the names of recommended candidates based on roll number.
The Commission conducted the NDA and NA 2017 written exams on September 10th, 2017 throughout the country. This was followed by interviews of the candidates who qualified.
