It was Teacher Appreciation Week in America, and, as Jimmy Kimmel said, “We must be nice to our teachers.”
So, Kimmel took to the streets to ask people to apologise to their teachers for the terrible things they did in school. The responses were both horrifying and hilarious (video above). From arriving drunk to an exam, through assigning nasty nicknames, to lying about knowing how to speak a language, these people seem to have done it all in school.
One interviewee apologised to a teacher for stealing his car and parking it on the roof. Another one said sorry for cracking a joke about drugs when she was in the first grade, even though she’s now the mayor of a California county.
