A shocking moment was captured in China’s Guangdong Province on April 23 (video above), showing a young girl tied to the back seat of a motorcycle while a man drives it. The girl can be heard crying while her feet dangle dangerously over the back.

The outrageous scene was captured by a passer-by, who posted the video online. According to Beijing News, Yunfu police reviewed the video and found the motorcyclist, who turned out to be the girl’s father.

The father explained to the police that his daughter was refusing to go to school. So, he strapped her into the motorcycle and drove her to school. Exemplary parenting.
