The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared final results of its Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 2016 exam for non-technical positions, on April 28th, 2018. Log on to the official Staff Selection Commission website to check the SSC MTS results of the 2016 exam. The exam results were expected on April 27th, but a firm date was later given by the Commission.

As per the notification, a total of 10,674 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for a number of vacancies of which 841 positions are for Scheduled Caste, 769 for Scheduled Tribes, 3,291 for Other Backwards Classes, and 5,773 for General/Unreserved category.
Paper-I of the MTS 2016 exam was held from September 16th to October 31st, 2017, the result of which was declared on January 15th, this year. Candidates who clearer Paper-I had to take the second round of the SSC MTS 2016 exam, Paper-II, which was held on January 28th, 2018.
For the MTS examination, the Commission clarified that Paper-I is used for final selection of candidates for each state and union territories subject to meeting basic quality standards fixed for Paper-II.
Based on the above criteria, 23,511 candidates were shortlisted for document verification and the final selection was made keeping in mind vacancies in various states and union territories and candidates’ preference.

- Log on to official website of the SSC.
- Under the latest news section, click on the link for Multi-Tasking Staff 2016.
- Under the appropriate exam name, click on the link under ‘Result’. A new window or browser tab will open. It is a PDF containing the entire exam results for the SSC MTS 2016 exam, which is listed out in roll number order.
- Check for your roll number to find out your result for the SSC MTS 2016 exam.
Candidates can click on the link under ‘Write up’ to check other details. As per this notification, 13 candidates have been debarred from the examination and the results of 220 candidates were not processed due to suspected malpractices in the examination.
