The 2018 Andhra Pradesh Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 results have been declared by the Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP). The AP SSC results were declared on April 29th, 2018 at 4pm. Candidates can check their result on the official website, www.bseap.org.
The board announced that 94.48% of the students who took the AP SSC exam have cleared. There isn’t too a great difference in gender-wise pass percentage, although girls performed slightly better than boys. The pass percentage for girls is 94.55% while for boys it is 94.41%. The overall pass percentage is much better than last year. In 2017, 91.92% of students managed to clear the AP Class 10 exam. Students must score a minimum of 35% marks in each subject to pass the exam.
The day that the AP SSC results were released, witnessed a lot of chaos as the results were postponed twice due to technical glitches. The results were scheduled to be declared at 9am, which was first postponed to 11am, and then to 4pm. The Andhra Pradesh board conducted the 2018 AP Class 10th exam from March 15th to March 29th this year.
Government schools registered a pass percentage of 94.48% and private schools 98.11%, while private candidates registered an overall pass percentage of 78.35%. The Prakasam district ranked first where 97.93% students cleared the AP SSC 2018 exam.
State Human Resource Development Minister, Bhagha Srinivasa Rao, said that a Vishakhapatnam platform was developed to declare the results, which was launched on the same day as the results.

- On the left panel, click on ‘AP SSC Results 2018’. (Click here for the direct link.)
- Enter your roll number in the field under the ‘Marks Memo’ section.
- Your marks will be displayed and can be printed out.

As per reports, strict measures were taken to discourage malpractices or cheating during the Andhra Pradesh SSC exam. All the examination centres were declared under section 144. The state board also increased the number of personnel in flying squads to cover more centres that could be invigilated.
