International Dance Day was celebrated on April 29, as it is every year, by those who can see the value and importance of dance. At the same time, it is a call to recognise the value of the art form.
While there are thousands of people all over the world who celebrate and perform on this day, Agents of Ishq, in partnership with Point of View, took the opportunity to send out a heart-warming, inclusive message (video above).
The video features differently abled people dancing to Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche from the 1968 film Brahmachari. The message? “Everybody loves to dance and everybody loves to love!”
International Dance Day was originally created in 1982 by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute, the main partner for the performing arts of UNESCO on the birth anniversary of Jean-Georges Noverre, the creator of modern ballet.
