No headsets. No special glasses. Just your imagination. And you can be swimming with whales, or free-falling through space, in a virtual reality experience that’s the nearest you can go to doing those things without actually doing them.
A spherical projection theatre in the Gwangju National Science Museum in South Korea has created a prototype of virtual reality entertainment of the future. As the video (above) posted by Tech Insider shows, the 360-degree projection immerses viewers in several out of the world (sometimes literally) experiences.
