Bank of India (BoI) has announced online registration for the recruitment of 158 Officers (Credit) in General Banking Stream. Online registrations will open tomorrow, April 20th, 2018, and will run until May 5th, which is the last date to apply for the BOI Credit Officer positions.

Interested candidates will have to apply through the public sector bank’s official website, in the prescribed format. The exam for Bank of India Credit Officer posts for 2018 will take place online and is tentatively scheduled for June 10th this year.

Eligibility criteria for Bank of India Credit Officer 2018 positions

  • The minimum educational qualification is a degree (graduation) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks, along with an MBA (or equivalent degree) or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce/Science/Economics or Chartered Accountant or ICWA or Company Secretary.
  • Alternatively, those who hold A CA degree, a Company Secretary degree or a degree from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWA) - which is now called the Institute of Cost Accountants of India - can also apply.
  • Also, a minimum 3-month computer course certification, or certification in Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards, is a must.

Bank of India Credit Officer selection process

  • The selection process consists of an online test and/or personal interview, depending on the number of eligible applicants.
  • The online examination consists of three tests, each of 50 marks on English Language, General Awareness (Special Reference to Banking Industry), and Financial Management.

  2. Click on Career.
  3. Click on “Recruitment of Officers in General Banking Stream - Project No. 2018-19/1 Notice dated 01.04.2018”.
  4. Click ‘Apply Online’.
  5. Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter all the necessary details.
  6. Click on ‘Save and Next’ button and upload a canned photo and your signature.
  7. Click on ‘Final Submit’ and click on ‘Payment’ to proceed to pay the application fee.
