It’s well known that women are not given equal representation in Hollywood, especially in lead roles. Leave aside the wage gap, women are often typecast in roles that thrive on stereotypes. So when YouTube channel Smosh decided to swap the gender of characters in Hollywood blockbusters such as Titanic, Twilight and Black Panther, it produced surprising – and hilarious – results.
