Security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir killed four suspected militants in a joint operation in Rajouri district’s Sunderbani sub division on Wednesday. The group had infiltrated through the Line of Control, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Shesh Paul Vaid said on Twitter.
The joint operation was conducted by the Army, state police and Border Security Force.
Rajouri district administration has asked all schools in Sunderbani to be shut as a precautionary measure. More details are awaited.
On March 25, security officials killed a suspected militant in Budgam district. One civilian also died in the incident.
