The Delhi Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution demanding that all the exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) since 2016 be probed by a Supreme Court-monitored committee.
The resolution was moved by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Pankaj Pushkar and was passed by the Assembly in a voice vote. The resolution states, “All the examinations conducted by the SSC from 2016 to 2018 should be probed in a time-bound manner and monitored by a sitting bench of Supreme Court,”
Similar demands have been made by the Congress and Swaraj India Party after allegations of a paper leak of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2017 examination started making rounds. A CBI probe has been ordered by the Centre and the bureau has started a preliminary enquiry into the allegations.
