The reality television series Bigg Boss will be telecast in Marathi from April 15 on the Colors Marathi channel. Mahesh Manjrekar will host the show, in which celebrity contestants are locked into a house for a finite period and their behaviour is observed through closed-circuit cameras.

The Indian version of the British show Big Brother has been adapted in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. The Hindi version, which is hosted by Salman Khan, wrapped up its 11th season in January. “Society’s insatiable curiosity to get a peek into the lives of their favorite celebrities is something that holds universal appeal and is sure to attract eyeballs,” a press release declared.
