South Korea’s two-time All England champion Jung Jae Sung died on Friday. The 35-year-old suffered a heart-attack at his home near Suwon.
Jae Sung shared a successful doubles partnership with Lee Yong Dae. Their six-year stint saw them clinch two All England titles. The duo also clinched Olympic bronze and two Asian Games bronze medallist.
Jung Jae Sung retired from international badminton following his bronze at the 2012 Olympics. He held the post as men’s doubles coach for the Korean National Badminton Team for a short while as well.
