The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested three people for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in Bulandshahr district, The Indian Express reported on Thursday. Three others are on the run since the girl’s family filed the case on Wednesday morning.
The girl had alleged that the six men raped her near her house in Mudi Bakapur village when she was going to meet a friend. Two of them dragged her to a secluded plot, where four others joined them and took turns to rape her, the girl said in her complaint. They also allegedly threatened to make a video of the incident public and kill her brother if she told anyone, ANI reported.
The Class 9 student was sent for a medical examination and the police filed a case against the six men under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The six accused are between the age of 18 and 22 years, and three of them are brothers.
