In the 1994 American film The Little Rascals, the protagonists, a groups of young boys, attempted to pull off the “trench coat trick”. Two young men – boys, really – tried recreating the famous trick to sneak in to watch Black Panther.
As tradition demands, one of them perched on the other’s shoulder, after which they wrapped a large trench-coat around themselves in the vain hope that they would look like one rather tall adult in a beige coat and brown hat.
However, when they walked up to the ticket counter, their clever plan failed. What a pity. But then, who would believe anyone can be as tall as that! Watch the making of the trench coat trick below.
