A fire broke out near a scrapyard in Mumbai’s Mankhurd area on Sunday morning, The Times of India reported. The blaze began at a shop near Maya Hotel and spread rapidly through the dump and nearby godowns.
Twenty fire tenders, eight water tanks and one ambulance was sent to douse the flames. No casualties were reported and the fire has been brought under control.
