Hansal Mehta’s terrorism-themed drama Omerta, starring Rajkummar Rao, will be released on April 20.
Also starring Rajesh Tailang and Rupinder Nagra, the film has been produced by Nahid Khan and presented by Swiss Entertainment. The drama is based on British Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh and his role in the abduction and kidnapping of foreign tourists, including Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002.
Omerta was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017. Sheikh has serving time in a Pakistani prison.
